I've finished.

There was too much random killing off of people. She could have eliminated some of it.

I really enjoyed all the ways previous books connected back to this one. I also really liked the chapter with Dumbledore and Harry. Especially how it shows that no one is completely good nor completely evil. Draco, Dudley and Kreacher have gotten better. Well, we just feel a bit sorry for Draco. Or maybe not. And I was right to trust Snape all along. Knowing all about Dumbledore increases my respect for him not decreases though. Yes, it was quite bad what he did but he feels very, very remorseful for it way more remorseful than Voldemort ever would have. Grindelwald showed remorse too, through not telling Voldemort more about the Elder wand. Oh and how it seemed like we (the readers) were taken on a "tour" like thing of the wizarding world.

Also I like the point that if you just respect people and be nicer to them they'll be more likely to like you back (i.e. Kreacher) It's a simple idea but I like the way she presents it.

Oh, it randomly occurred to me that Ron, Harry and Hermione are all RELATED now! aaah! That was odd to think of.

I also liked how JKR spoke (near the end I think) on how imagination and children's stories and fairy tales and fables and that which is usually forgotten by most are all quite powerful and important and many of us do not realize that.

AND did anyone else notice that Luna's Father's name means "one who loves foreign things" which I interpreted as "one who loves oddities"

I went to the midnight thingie for once! And had a lovely time with Erin, Fable, Maria and Ella and the two previously unknown to me. I enjoyed sitting and talking (or reading) with them whilst waiting to wait in line...

Other than all of that, my day was quite good. We wandered to a market, two museums (the Sci Fi one! and a music one that was also pretty cool) and the space needle. In the morning, we took an underground tour. It was very interesting. They walled in city blocks and built the streets higher when raising the city so you had to climb up and down ladders to cross the streets!
