Luna Lovegood is decidedly awesomer than I remember her being.

They are spoiling The Dark is Rising, though. I am angry.

I wandered by MITY aujourd'hui with the mission of picking up my loverly MITY t-shirt. Somehow, however, the Cranberry flavor shirts had been delivered in all sizes but size small which was the one I needed so I wandered over to the small little shop in the campus center and bought two notebooks. Ashley kept me company on these errands as she found me when I went and found Mr. Rec and ran and gave me a hug. Then I lurked by Maria's class at their trivial pursuit tournament game. After all of this and asking Mike if he had one of the Craiggy Wriggy (proper noun)s data CDs (he didn't) I wandered away planing on returning another day for my shirt. However, I ran into Mr. Rec on the way and he said that the t-shirt place was nearby on Grand and then we went there and picked up the small cranberry shirts. That was interesting. I was standing in this room with Mr. Rec and the shirt printing guys, learning rather early on what the mystery paint colour was and being told to speak French to one of the shirt guys who apparently was born in Belgium, lived in Switzerland but had lived here for 20 years. Oh! The shirt company keeps the designs for all of the MITY shirts with them so technically if one wanted to one could purchase any year MITY shirt in any colour provided one paid the shirt guys the 15 dollar fee and the shirt's cost.

I have been reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell lately. I'm enjoying it.

And yesterday I visited Fable and Erin and their new snake, Spock Romeo Corleone. It is interesting to have a friend's pet shed scales and not hairs upon one's skirt!

It's 5, but the first (Over Sea, Under Stone) wasn't very good. Just generic fiction. The other 4 are great, though. I got my Lit. teacher in 4th and 5th grade to read them. I got all of them in a used-bookstore. Actually, I didn't like Greenwitch as much as the others. The Dark is Rising and Silver on the Tree were the best in the series to me.

Maybe that's why I didn't remember it very well, lol. I do remember Greenwitch being kind of fillerish. Again, don't remember as much as I'd like.

Johnathon Strange and Mr. Norrell is amazing, but i was kind of freaked out at one part. Staying up all night reading it just might have something to do with that though. Freaky things are always freakier in the middle of the night. That's why if you're going to read scary books or watch scary movies, you should do so as late as possible. :D

i'm so strange...

Snakes are sweet. i know a few people who have snakes, but not nearly enough. (but i supposed mothers almost everywhere freak out. Oh lucky snake-owners, whose mothers are not frightened of faskinating reptiles)
