It's quite fun to reflect on the shifts that have happened since freshman year. I was definately a more hyper, jumping to conclusions person then. I was more outgoing. I think I think about things a lot more than I did then. Then I was bouncing from one thing to another -- not ever relaxing and getting to know myself and my needs better.

Date: 2007-05-12 12:55 am (UTC)Heh, no it doesn't suprise me you have a shy side, in fact, I kind of knew it. Math team, and various other places, are just different. I have a MITY friend who must think I'm completely outgoing and sociable when, really, I'm not as outgoing as she thinks I am. I'm not a hermit either, though.
And, yeah, the circumstances I'm less comfortable in, yes. My interaction depends on the time. If I know everyone and the situation well I'll feel so much less tense and so much more relaxed than if it's a new situation/people. On the other hand, sometimes I'm absurdly outgoing with new people but that's another story.
