starry starry night...

Does anyone else actually listen to any songs of Don McLean's other than American Pie besides my family? I have re-discovered one of the other songs on the same side of the record as American Pie and discovered some other ones on that record, mainly on side one.

Oh! and I can apparently make it to the school library, check out two books and still catch my bus on time. I checked out Neverwhere and Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman. I was very excited to discover that the library had these yesterday but the librarian had left so I couldn't check them out then.

My family, but then we're sort of weird.... but yeah, I actually have a couple of Don McLean songs on my computer. Vincent, I think, and And I Love You So. And Castles In the Air.

yes, I like Vincent. It's a good song, though for ages I thought it was called "Starry Starry Night", which, incidentally caused me to show my brother a picture of the painting as he hadn't yet connected the painting, the name Vincent Van Gogh and the song, which caused me to think "this would make a good icon" which caused me to turn my journal into a plus account and make it for myself. ^_^

Vincent is an amazing song. I like another song on there besides American Pie, but I can't remember which it is. Babylon maybe?

oh, I think I liked that one too. I should convert the record of it that we have to digital, though my father says to just buy it off itunes... I did find an old copy of Vincent that I had on a mix cd I had burned for myself, though mysteriously there's no trace of the song on the computer...

heh, it's actually called Vincent, though I thought it was "Starry Starry Night" for the longest time... And I only really discovered actual other songs of his today after my brother and I put his record on and they played.

See, I've seen it listed as "Vincent (Starry Starry Night)" so I use the two interchangeably. But whatevs. I should probably listen to more...
