I am odd. A lot of the time I feel left out or lonely but I'm generally cheerful and like my life. I feel like people are leaving me out when they aren't actually and I feel left out of the oddest things. Also, I don't usually get upset about all of this. I'm usually cheerful and I enjoy my life. As a lot of things about me, there are two extremes - the feelings of lonelyness and exclusion but then again the feelings of cheerfullness and contentness.

That and conversations I've been having today. It's not your fault or anything. Or you and Hanna's fault either. It's just me contemplating the way I am.

Because that's pretty much what I feel like, most of the time.
Ah well--at least I know I'll always find a home with the MITY kids.
(By the way, we need to get together sometime. Probably a weekend, 'cause while I am not your IB buddy, I am taking two AP classes. Yes, I am insane.)
*hugs* Keep your chin up. As I have many of the same problems (or blessings), I can't give you any advice, really. Sorry about that, but just think how much worse it would be if you were the same way, except without the cheerful part! I think people like us are really quite well off compared to some, actually.
And there's always next June in Carnegie 06.

We do need to get together. I have missed you and all of the MITY people a lot. It sort of feels like there is something missing; that there is a hole where you guys used to be.

Yes, I'm glad I'm cheerful about things. It's just sort of hard having a very mixed outlook on life and always thinking that people are disliking the things you do and say. Not that I'd ever change who I am.

I wish I had something constructive to say, but I don't know a cure. I felt like that most of last year. But in long stretches. Long stretches of what I felt was a kind of social exile. It wasn't really, but it was very distressing at the time. All I can say is DON"T pull away from your friends for much time at all. Take a little break if you need it, but if you stay out of the circle too long, it's difficult to get back in it. Have fun reflecting.

It is hard being in the coconut trees (or having one's head in the clouds) all the time. I enjoy sorting out my life though. Thanks for the advice! I miss you!

i guess i don't really know what to say, except that i think we all feel left out sometimes, or i guess maybe that's just me as well...and i think it's a good thing at least that you're that aware of yourself and how you see and feel things.
do i only have one class with you this year? sad. remember freshman year? doesn't even seem that long ago...
