I am getting Ideas again. Mostly I want to have silly fun awesomeness again. (Last time this resulted in This Is Not A Time Machine). I read csecooney's posts about open mics and I keep wanting to run one here at college. I might. I'm also remembering skogkatt interstitial arts party. (Which, by the way, I'm suddenly curious who drew what in my book. Some of them I know and can tell and remember but some things are mysterious and unsigned. I know I didn't sign mine really. If you have a drawing of a person with teeth for a hat or eyes for a hat or something also a weird rhyme about teeth-hats that was probably me.) I want to have some kind of sharing of knowledge/ideas/poems/whatever. People could read and there would be tea (I have So. Much.) and bringing things to share would be encouraged. But I dunno. We'll see. College is an excellent place to have this sort of thing, though.

YOU CAN DO IT! Start small! Invite three or four writer friends over for a little open mic and dinner!!! Everyone gets a long chance to read, and great things happen around food, and, and... YES!!!
