Today has been peaceful and creative. I brought some earrings I'd made to the hair salon of a family friend who'd agreed to sell them for me. I hope that goes well! After that, I went home and beaded more. I like quite a few of the things I've made and I have even more ideas of things to make and sell.

I've also decided that I want to start some sort of postcard group. We would all gather (perhaps on an Livejournal community), exchange addresses, and then (on some kind of regular basis) we would send each other a postcard, preferably of something that might inspire a neat response in writing, in art, in beads. In whatever. On the other hand, I'm notoriously bad at committing to this sort of thing. But! Postcards are easy and cheap. Anyone else like this plan?

This evening was good. I got to see various people that I haven't seen in ages and find out what they're up to. Facebook only allows so much peering into people's lives. It turns out people end up doing rather interesting things.

Soon, now, I think I will go to read a Diana Wynne Jones and then head to bed.
