Mar. 15th, 2011 03:15 pmAn excellent open letter to the people of Wisconsin from someone in Illinois who hosted the Wisconsin 14. Read it. Pass it on.
My break was pretty good in general. I went home for a while and got to see two plays (one at the Guthrie!) with my parents as well as spend time with them. I did some errand-y things like renewing my license and read and relaxed. I went to Madison for the second weekend of break. Saturday night's dinner was almost like Thanksgiving, which was sort of fun. My parents had driven down to protest and many of the people who are around for Thanksgiving were also protesting so we all had a big dinner together.
Here is a really cool map of the history of SF/F. It is a very large image, though.
