I walked home from watching the Oscars with friends today and it was snow/ice/raining. I wasn't really sure which.

Today has been a sort of melancholy day. Yesterday was fun and so was Friday. I haven't quite felt all the way here today. I think I might be a bit stressed due to the big paper that I have due.

I think it is that I feel everything isn't quite right. Nothing seems quite settled the way it should be and I have quite a bit to do. I suppose it is midterms after all. I can't seem to concentrate without finding something else to do.

I've been noticing that the cardinals are singing more, and the other small birds, like finches, too. We had snow over the weekend, but I think the birds know the equinox is coming.

I have half a fruit Napoleon in the fridge from Moscow on the Hill. This may not be earth-shattering, but it makes me very cheerful.
