I am currently working on my annotated bibliography for a paper. The topic I have is focused on a culture in South America and one of my sources is in Spanish. I can read it really easily, as it turns out, and understand 98% of what it is saying. I'd like to read more in Spanish, particularly fiction. The non-fiction source for a paper is easier to read than I have found Spanish fiction to be in the past, probably because it is written for a field I am familiar with and many of the words are similar. Does anyone have recommendations for good SF/F in Spanish, especially free short fiction or poetry online? I'd like to find things that were originally written in Spanish. Ages ago someone recommended Temblor by Rosa Montero to me. I'd like to find that. I'd like to find a Spanish-language version of Kalpa Imperial too. Any recommendations of new things to try?

Oh god you should read Jorge Luis Borges. I've only read English translations and I love everything he's ever written, and people who speak Spanish keep telling me I'm missing out on half the beauty of his writing by not reading it in Spanish.
