Nov. 30th, 2010 11:40 pmI feel awake again. I feel like I know what I have to get done and how to do it. Which is good, as it is finals.
I also feel real and alive and snarky and happy and here.
I seem to spew writer gunk all over my class notebooks. I keep finding snatches of poetry on things like my philosophy class syllabus.
I wasn't feeling particularly not-alive the past few days or anything but today I feel especially in existence. It is a good feeling.
I've been re-reading Freedom and Necessity by Steven Brust and Emma Bull for the third time. I'd highly recommend it if you haven't heard of it. Adventures of 4 cousins trying to figure out why one of them was thought dead for a few months and where he was then and why and why he has entirely forgotten that period of time. It is epistolary (told in letters) and set in 1849. The characters are all awesome in their own ways. Susan's my favorite.
