Story! I have a story! I had an idea and it has gone on for about three pages now without running out of steam. This is exciting.

How does one form friendships with people that one does not often meet in person/has never met in person?

I am really enjoying Hexwood. I am reading it for the first time as it is one of the few DWJ that I have not read. I do look forward to her newest one. In DWJ books, my favorite part is the layers. You can see more and more of the book with each reading, with each layer you pull back. It is very satisfying.

Friendships not in person? One tells them stories, mostly. And then one listens to their stories. And then one argues about books, and sometimes also about music, and sometimes also about movies.

At least if one is me.

True. Though there must be opportunities to tell the stories and argue about books and music and movies.

I love Hexwood. I think it is my next most favorite after Fire and Hemlock.

Yes. I knew that people thought of it and Fire and Hemlock with a similar affection. Fire and Hemlock is my favorite and I knew I had to read Hexwood. I wonder if I've read all but her latest; I hope not. I like finding and reading new DWJ.
