I've been seeing pictures of the stone labradorite lately so I bought a couple of beads to experiment with. Tonight I finally got them out and made a pair of earrings that remind me of lanterns, moonlight and mist. I think I'd like to make more things with labradorite.

After I finished the earrings, write_way_42 grabbed me to go dance outside. Us and Emily all ran around and danced and sang at the top of our lungs. write_way_42 and I bicycled around singing "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head". She says she was Paul Newman. It was lovely. I should have tea to warm myself up properly. Hmm.

Saturday I got a hair stick with silver and labradorite sculptural work coming off it. It is called "Steam Faerie," and it is so awesome. Yay labradorite. (Now I just have to learn to use a hair stick.)

It is a very fine thing to find someone who will be Paul Newman. That bit is more work.

She was mostly Paul Newman so that we could act out the scene from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

I think so. We cheated in that respect and took separate bikes. It is just easier when it is pouring rain and you don't particularly want to injure yourself in this endeavor.
