Today feels properly autumnal. It rained this morning and I wore my rain-outfit.

This afternoon I broke open the Brach's cinnamon candies (my second favorite brand, favorite is the Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Fire ones) and sat and wrote with cinnamon in my mouth.

Tonight I went out at dusk (well, actually just before dusk when there's that slanted half-light) and wrote. I then completed my theatre assignment, which involved drawing leaves, and went off to write more. There are leaves strewn about all of campus and it feels cooler. I've been drinking spice tea and eating chocolate and cinnamon. I would like to find some pumpkin bread or something pumpkin flavored. Autumn is associated with spices, cinnamon, pumpkin, fireplaces, reading, writing, stories, and myths in my brain. I need to make myself my autumnal necklace one of these days. I have the beads for it but I have not quite decided how to make it full of tangled branches and brambly brush.

I haven't drank enough tea to have a favorite autumn one, but I am waiting until I can find a caramel apple. I love Brach's candy corn.

I have a new plum tea that I love (herbal blend), but I'm a little worried because it's sealed in plastic and still kind of stinking up the pantry. I mean, it's a good stink. But maybe one doesn't want the smell of plum tea every single second.
