aamcnamara and I wandered around parks and things near her home today. In the course of the afternoon we had ice cream, sat in the sunlight writing, and observed someone walking a duck. Yes, a duck. She'd walk along for ten or fifteen feet, then turn to make sure the duck was following. It was a plain white duck with an orange bill and it trotted along happily after its owner.

After spending the afternoon in the park, by the lake, and eating ice cream, we went and attended a Cirque du Soleil show.

Nope, she just walked ten to fifteen feet and looked back to see if it was following her.

We told the woman that she had a very nice duck.
It was aamcnamara's birthday gift. They were student tickets so we were right behind a pole but it wasn't a big pole and I could see 98% of the stage. The pole had many shiny lights to look at on it. We identified the types of them. I looked for safety cables. They had a ton of the intelligent light things.
