It is always somewhat bizarre and a bit startling when someone else mentions that they do something which you'd previously thought was your own unique quirk.
Agreed! Part of me is sad, because it feels like I'm losing claim to something I thought was JUST ME, but the other part realises that's ridiculous and is glad to find a kindred spirit. :)
Hee! Rita, that's exactly how I feel! Except when it's the other way round -- something I thought was absolutely normal and everybody does it turns out to be my own peculiar quirk, and I start to wonder if the rest of the world is even HUMAN and how do they MANAGE GOOD HEAVENS. Then I decide I can be superior about it instead. ;)
Eh, just in general. It has happened fairly often and I can't think of a specific quirk. It is more startling when it comes from someone who you don't immediately think of as being like yourself.
