My haiku from the Haiku Earring Party
Jun. 4th, 2009 11:08 pmI have posted this on
elisem's haiku gathering post but I wanted to post it on my journal as well. The title is a link to a picture of the earrings. For those who do not know,
elisem hosts a party at WisCon where a table is laid out with earrings. You walk along and look at all of them until you pick out a pair that you would like to take home with you. You bring this pair to
elisem and she gives a title for the earrings and for your haiku. You then write the haiku and show it to
elisem and if she wishes (which she usually does) you keep the earrings and put the haiku on the table in their place. It is lovely for there are many pretty pairs of earrings and excellent haikus and this year there was tea. Mmm.
