I like LJ for all of the expressions of thought. Thoughts like photons bouncing around in my head, occasionally ommitted onto paper or screen. Sometimes people's photons bounce off of each other and make something else. I suppose actual having-studied-photons people will have to correct me on my metaphor. I like seeing all of the light and shadows and patterns made from these. I like seeing how people's ideas and posts interact. I like looking at my friends' lives in brief glimpses, using the LJ entries like windows.

Often people's posts will be filled with inspiration and wonder. I wonder if my life is ever nearly as fascinating. I suppose things that aren't happening to one's self are interesting no matter who you are.
