widow's walk hunting

I left lunch today inspired to walk around near campus looking for widow's walks. I didn't actually find any but I did see many nice houses and I was pleasantly cold as it was sprinkling a tiny bit as well as being a bit chilly. I enjoy walks in temperatures that are cold enough to make being back inside again pleasant but not cold enough to make being outside unpleasant. I love the mood that that sort of thing gives me. I love the view from my window which is filled with rain, gnarled trees and brick buildings. I do love cast iron and widow's walks and those diamond paned windows. I think I'll have some tea now, it goes well with rain. (Well, so do books, cats and chocolate...)

Bleh, tea. But yay books and chocolate, hot chocolate or milk chocolate or, really, any chocolate! Of course, chocolate is good for any weather. ^^
