Creating things
Jan. 27th, 2009 09:33 pmOne's art is the way that one gives form to ideas, tells stories. One's art may or may not be something that you are particularly good at but something that you can bring story into.
I know that I can find motion and stories behind things that I write. I only really have one that I have re written really but I will work on more. I know that while I may not be a person for whom drawing feels like a me thing I can bring motion and story to it too. Book arts feels like the things that is the most /me/ and I can bring motion and story to my books most of the time. Beading on the other hand, despite being a /me/ thing, does not hold motion. Not yet. I think that
elisem 's titles might come from this motion and that if I could find it in beading I might be able to find some other layer in my own beading.
Where do you find story and motion?

It's difficult for me to find motion in visual art (2D or 3D), in jewelry/beading, and to an extent in film, though I haven't really tried film.
