Aug. 31st, 2009 07:03 pmI hear Disney bought Marvel. I would much prefer it if Marvel bought Disney. That would be interesting.
This entry, and the writing I did atop my trunk yesterday, makes me think about what sorts of spaces I'd like to have. I would like some sort of old little cottage/cabin/shed with some built in shelves for my books, something comfortable to sit on, some old trunks (both as tables and as counters and storage devices for tea), a self-heating kettle, a typewriter, a computer, a soft glowing lamp. I'd like old wood walls and a window with diamond panes. I'd sit there and eat cinnamon and spice and chocolate, drink tea, read wonderful things, and write. Some where nearby would have a tall roof I could climb to.
What are your places (both known and imagined)?
